Looking for a career that makes a difference? Gaston County Schools is hosting two upcoming job fairs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Gaston County Public Library, 1555 E. Garrison Blvd.
The June 11 job fair will feature elementary teaching vacancies and bus driver opportunities, while the June 18 job fair will focus on secondary teaching vacancies, school nutrition positions, and bus driver opportunities.

Beginning June 1, Gaston County Schools is offering its annual summer nutrition program at community sites across the county.
Gaston County Schools will operate on a four-day, 10-hour work week this summer. School and central level offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All offices will be closed on Friday. Summer hours run through June 1-July 31.
